About the Role

Binated is looking for an Assistant Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities for Indian and international clients.

The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, and hands-on experience with Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, FreshBooks, and MS Excel. Experience with US or Australian accounting will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions, ledgers, payments, and bookkeeping.
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements and assist with monthly and yearly closing.
• Maintain accurate books and cash-flow records.
• Assist with GST, Sales Tax, and taxation-related activities.
• Review financial transactions and identify discrepancies.
• Maintain proper documentation and confidentiality of financial information.
• Support accounting requirements for US and Australian clients.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Accounting or Bookkeeping.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Experience with Tally and/or SAP.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks or FreshBooks is preferred.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Experience in US or Australian accounting is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good English communication and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
