2D Spine Animator — Fresher
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: Fresher / 0–1 Year
Department: Animation
Role Overview
We are looking for a 2D Spine Animator to join our game development team. This role is suitable for freshers who have a good understanding of 2D animation and are interested in creating animations for mobile and web-based games.
Responsibilities
- Create 2D character, symbol, UI, and FX animations using Spine 2D.
- Work with existing rigs and create clean, appealing animations.
- Create animations such as Idle, Loop, Landing, Win, Blur, and Transition states.
- Follow animation references and art direction provided by the team.
- Maintain clean timelines, naming conventions, and organized Spine files.
- Work closely with game designers, artists, and developers to ensure animations work correctly in-game.
- Make revisions based on feedback and maintain consistency across assets.
- Prepare and export Spine files according to the development team's requirements.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Spine 2D.
- Good understanding of animation principles such as timing, spacing, anticipation, squash & stretch, and follow-through.
- Basic understanding of Photoshop or similar 2D software.
- Good sense of motion, timing, and visual appeal.
- Willingness to learn and work with feedback.
- Basic understanding of game animation pipelines is a plus.
Portfolio
Candidates should provide a portfolio/showreel containing 2D animation work. Spine projects are preferred but not mandatory for freshers.
