Full job description

Material Receiving & Inward Management

  • Ensure timely receipt of raw materials, packing materials, consumables, tools, and finished goods.
  • Verify received materials against Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Challans, and Invoices.
  • Coordinate with Quality Department for incoming material inspection and acceptance.
  • Ensure proper GRN (Goods Receipt Note) creation in ERP systems.
  • Monitor unloading activities and ensure safe handling of materials.
  • Report shortages, damages, and discrepancies to Procurement and suppliers.
  • Maintain records of all inward transactions.

2. Inventory Management & Stock Control

  • Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/WMS systems.
  • Ensure 100% inventory accuracy through regular monitoring and verification.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and annual stock audits.
  • Monitor stock aging and identify slow-moving and non-moving inventory.
  • Implement FIFO (First In First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry First Out) practices where applicable.
  • Track inventory turnover and optimize stock levels.
  • Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare inventory reconciliation reports and submit to management.

3. Storage & Warehouse Space Management

  • Plan warehouse layout for optimum utilization of storage space.
  • Ensure proper binning, rack management, and material identification.
  • Maintain location-wise inventory records.
  • Ensure proper segregation of accepted, rejected, and quarantine materials.
  • Monitor warehouse capacity and storage conditions.
  • Develop strategies to maximize storage efficiency and reduce congestion.
  • Ensure proper stacking and preservation of materials.

4. Production Material Supply Management

  • Ensure timely issue of raw materials to production lines.
  • Coordinate with Production Planning and Control (PPC) team for daily material requirements.
  • Monitor material consumption and prevent stock shortages.
  • Maintain material issue records and documentation.
  • Ensure uninterrupted supply of materials to production operations.
  • Track production returns and excess material management.

5. Dispatch & Logistics Management

  • Plan and coordinate daily dispatch schedules.
  • Ensure timely shipment of finished goods to customers.
  • Verify dispatch documentation including invoices, e-way bills, packing lists, and delivery challans.
  • Coordinate with transporters for vehicle placement and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor dispatch accuracy and loading activities.
  • Track deliveries and resolve transportation issues.
  • Ensure compliance with customer-specific packaging requirements.

6. Team Leadership & Manpower Management

  • Supervise warehouse executives, storekeepers, forklift operators, and contract workers.
  • Allocate daily work assignments and monitor performance.
  • Conduct employee training on warehouse operations and safety procedures.
  • Manage shift planning and manpower deployment.
  • Monitor attendance, overtime, and workforce productivity.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
  • Develop a culture of accountability and teamwork.

7. ERP, MIS & Documentation Management

  • Ensure accurate and timely transactions in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse MIS reports.
  • Maintain records of inventory, dispatches, inward materials, and stock adjustments.
  • Prepare reports for management review.
  • Analyze warehouse KPIs and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain document control and record retention as per company policies.

8. Safety, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with warehouse safety standards and statutory requirements.
  • Enforce PPE usage and safe material handling practices.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
  • Investigate warehouse incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure fire safety equipment is maintained and functional.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO, IATF, EHS, and customer requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
