- ACCOUNTS MANAGER
Job Title: Accounts Manager
Department: Finance & Accounts
Reporting To: Director / CFO
Location: Owala, Thane West, GB Road
Job Summary:
The Accounts Manager is responsible for managing the entire accounting function, including financial reporting, taxation, compliance, budgeting, and control of cash flow across factory operations and all retail outlets. The role ensures accurate bookkeeping, statutory compliance, and financial discipline across the organization.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):
1. Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate books of accounts (day-to-day transactions)
- Ledger scrutiny and reconciliation
- Month-end and year-end closing
- Preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
2. Outlet Accounting & Control (VERY IMPORTANT)
- Monitor daily sales reporting from all outlets
- Cash reconciliation (daily/weekly)
- Control on pilferage, leakages, and cash handling
- Outlet-wise profitability analysis
- Inventory accounting coordination with stores
3. Taxation & Compliance
- GST (returns, reconciliation, input credit)
- TDS (deduction, payment, filing returns)
- Income tax compliance
- Handling audits (internal, statutory, GST)
- Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations
4. Payables & Receivables Management
- Vendor payments and ageing control
- Customer outstanding follow-ups (if applicable)
- Credit control and payment cycles
- Expense verification and approvals
5. Payroll Accounting Coordination
- Salary verification with HR
- Payroll accounting entries
- Statutory payments (PF, ESI, PT, TDS) coordination
- Reconciliation of payroll expenses
6. Budgeting & Cost Control
- Preparation of annual budgets
- Monitoring actual vs budget
- Cost control (raw materials, labour, overheads)
- Outlet expense monitoring
7. Cash Flow & Banking
- Daily cash flow management
- Bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
- Fund planning and utilization
- Handling banking transactions and limits
8. Inventory & Stock Control
- Coordination with production & stores
- Stock valuation
- Variance analysis (physical vs system stock)
- Wastage and shrinkage control
9. MIS & Reporting
- Daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports
- Outlet performance reports
- Financial dashboards for management
- Decision-support analysis

- Month-End Closing: Within 5–7 days

Qualifications

Experience
- 5–10 years in accounts & finance
- 2+ years in managerial role
- Experience in retail / manufacturing preferred

- Available during audits and financial closing periods
