Job Summary

Required Qualification and Skills :
  • 1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 2. 5 to 7 years of experience in electromechanical design and development.
3. Proficient in 2D tolerance analysis (Worst case analysis)

  • 4. Hands on experience in applying GD&T on designed parts
  • 5. Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
  • 6. CNC machining, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication.
  • 7. Knowledge of additive manufacturing (3D printing).
  • 8. Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and DFM principles.
  • 9. Understanding of electrical components and wiring for mechanical systems.
  • 10. Understanding of EMI/EMC compliance
  • 11. Hands on experience with Root cause analysis and providing quick solutions to failures
  • 12. Proven knowledge of Outline dimension drawing for PCB's
  • 13. Proficiency in CAD/PLM tools - SolidWorks, Team Center
  • 14. Strong knowledge of motors, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
  • 15. Experience with prototyping, testing, and failure analysis.
  • 16. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • 17. Strong communication (Verbal and Written) and teamwork abilities.
18. Hands on experience with ECO/ECN activities

2. Lead And Mentor A Team Of Designers, Providing Guidance On Product Design Principles And Methodologies, To Deliver High-Quality Design Solutions That Meet Project Requirements.
3. Present Design Concepts And Strategies To Stakeholders, Effectively Gathering Feedback To Refine And Enhance Design Outcomes.
4. Establish And Maintain Design Standards, Guidelines, And Best Practices In Product Design To Ensure Consistency And Quality Across All Design Efforts.
5. Stay Informed About Industry Trends And Emerging Technologies, Leveraging Insights To Drive Innovation And Excellence In Product Design.
Skill Requirements
1. Solid Understanding Of Product Design Principles And Methodologies.
2. Proficiency In Design Tools Such As Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Or Figma.
3. Strong Knowledge Of Design For Manufacturing And Assembly (Dfma) Principles.
4. Familiarity With Geometric Dimensioning And Tolerancing (Gd&T) Techniques.
5. Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills.
Other Requirements
1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Certified Product Designer (Cpd), Design Thinking Certification, Or Equivalent.
