• Track and reconcile stock levels for building materials, tools, hardware, and supplies.
• Oversee material receipts, quality checks, and logs against delivery notes.

• Build and maintain relationships with wholesale suppliers and distributors.
• Place purchase orders, handle logistics, and negotiate pricing or delivery schedules.

• Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and evaluate store or yard employees.
• Assign daily duties and monitor team performance to meet operational targets.

• Support project managers, and do-it-yourself (DIY) customers with material selections and orders.
• Resolve customer or site-delivery complaints and service escalations.

• Manage point-of-sale (POS) cash registers, daily reconciliations, and bank deposits.
• Prepare and monitor store budgets, profit and loss (P&L) reports, and expense controls.
