Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Android Native Developer with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our team. As an Android Native Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality and performant Android applications using Java and Kotlin. Your primary focus will be on creating user-friendly and efficient mobile applications that meet the needs of our users.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design and develop Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while following best practices and coding
    standards.
  • Optimize application performance for smooth user experiences on a variety of Android devices.
  • Integrate mobile applications with backend services and APIs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users and implement improvements to enhance
    app functionality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. (Equivalent work experience may be considered.)
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in Android app development using Java and/or
    Kotlin.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin programming languages.
  • Experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and other relevant development tools.
  • Solid understanding of Android UI design principles and guidelines.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of other mobile development frameworks, such as React Native or Flutter.
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Familiarity with MVP, MVVM, or other architectural patterns.
  • Knowledge of mobile app security best practices.
