Job Description – Junior Angular & Node.js Developer

Position: Junior Angular & Node.js Developer

Position Summary

We are looking for a Junior Angular & Node.js Developer with a strong foundation in frontend and backend web development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Angular (v10+) and Node.js, and be eager to build scalable, responsive, and user-friendly web applications while working closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Angular and Node.js.
• Build reusable and maintainable frontend components, services, and modules.
• Develop and maintain backend APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs.
• Create responsive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI frameworks.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and secure application flows.
• Work with databases for CRUD operations and data management.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve frontend and backend issues.
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
• Follow coding standards, best practices, and documentation guidelines.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to sprint deliverables.
• Continuously learn and adopt new technologies and development practices.

Technical Skills RequirementsFrontend Development

• Basic to good knowledge of Angular (v10 or above).
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Understanding of Angular architecture (Components, Modules, Services).
• Familiarity with RxJS, Observables, and reactive programming.
• Knowledge of Angular Router, Guards, and HTTP Client.
• Experience with UI libraries such as Angular Material, Bootstrap, or PrimeNG.
• Basic understanding of responsive web design.

Backend Development

• Basic knowledge of Node.js and Express.js.
• Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of middleware, routing, and API development.
• Basic knowledge of authentication mechanisms such as JWT.
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming using Promises and async/await.

Database

• Basic understanding of MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Ability to perform CRUD operations.
• Understanding of database relationships and queries.

Tools & Version Control

• Familiarity with Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket).
• Experience using Angular CLI, npm, and package management tools.
• Basic knowledge of Postman for API testing.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar Agile project management tools is a plus.

Testing (Good to Have)

• Basic understanding of frontend testing using Jasmine and Karma.
• Awareness of backend testing frameworks is an advantage.

Additional Competencies

• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Knowledge of coding standards and best practices.
• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles.
• Willingness to learn modern web technologies and frameworks.

Pay: ₹10,150.64 - ₹30,948.47 per month
