Assistant Manager jobs in Delhi

Monitor stock levels of seeds, crude oil, chemicals, and packaging materials.

1) Production Planning & Execution

• Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Ensure optimum utilization of plant capacity and resources.
• Monitor crushing, extraction, refining, and packing operations.
• Achieve production targets with minimal downtime.

2) Process & Operations Management

• Oversee processes such as:
• Seed cleaning & crushing (for mustard/groundnut)
• Oil extraction (expeller/solvent extraction)
• Refining (degumming, neutralization, bleaching, deodorization)
• Filtration and packing
• Ensure process parameters are maintained for maximum yield and efficiency.

3) Quality Control & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with FSSAI guidelines.
• Maintain product quality standards for edible oils (mustard, refined, etc.).
• Coordinate with QA/QC team for lab testing and batch approvals.
• Ensure hygiene, food safety, and audit readiness (ISO, HACCP).

4) Inventory & Raw Material Management

• Minimize wastage and optimize oil recovery percentage.
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams.
• Monitor stock levels of seeds, crude oil, chemicals, and packaging materials.

5)Team Management

• Lead and supervise production staff, supervisors, and operators.
• Allocate manpower shifts effectively.
• Conduct training on SOPs, safety, and process improvements.

6) Maintenance Coordination

• Work closely with maintenance team to ensure machine uptime.
• Plan preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules.
• Ensure availability of critical spares.

7) Cost Control & Efficiency

• Control production costs including utilities, manpower, and consumables.
• Monitor KPIs such as yield %, losses, energy consumption.
• Implement continuous improvement (lean manufacturing practices).

8) Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to safety norms and statutory regulations.
• Conduct safety audits and risk assessments.
• Maintain proper documentation and reporting.
