Job Summary
We are looking for qualified and dedicated candidates for the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Design Engineering or Thermal Engineering. The candidate should have strong subject knowledge, a passion for teaching, and the ability to contribute to academic activities, research, and departmental development.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and conduct practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Teach subjects related to Design Engineering or Thermal Engineering, based on specialization.
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, question papers, and laboratory assignments.
- Guide students in academic projects, research activities, and technical presentations.
- Conduct laboratory sessions and support curriculum development.
- Participate in departmental meetings, academic planning, and institutional activities.
- Contribute to research publications, conferences, patents, and funded research projects.
- Assist in accreditation and quality assurance activities, including NBA and NAAC documentation.
- Support student mentoring, academic assessments, and placement-related activities.
Educational Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant specialization from a recognized university.
- Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant specialization will be an added advantage, subject to applicable regulatory norms.

- Strong technical knowledge in Design Engineering or Thermal Engineering.
