Full job description

We are looking for participants to contribute to a Malayalam speech data collection project. The recordings will be used to train and improve Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) models. Participants will record natural conversations in Malayalam following the guidelines below.

  • Two participants must engage in a natural conversation on a chosen topic.
  • Recordings can be done using either a laptop or a mobile phone.
  • Solo recordings are not permitted.
  • Recording partners may be in the same location or different locations.
  • Participants can record at any time of the day.
  • A minimum of 6–8 recordings per day, each 15 minutes long, must be submitted.
  • Any recordings that do not meet quality standards must be corrected and resubmitted.
  • Background noise is strictly prohibited.
  • Speakers are free to choose any conversation topic.
  • High-performing candidates may be promoted to transcription tasks later.

Job Types: Part-time, Fresher, Freelance
Contract length: 1 month

Pay: ₹3,000.00 per week

Expected hours: 10 per week
