Full job description

  • Prepare detailed 2D drawings, fabrication drawings, layouts, and production drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
  • Prepare drawings based on engineering specifications, measurements, customer requirements, and approved designs.
  • Develop and modify drawings as per revisions, site measurements, and production requirements.
  • Ensure all drawings are accurate, dimensionally correct, and comply with required technical standards.
  • Coordinate with the Sales, Engineering, Production, Purchase, and Project teams for drawing-related requirements.
  • Review drawings before release to ensure there are no errors or discrepancies.
  • Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and material details wherever required.
  • Maintain proper records of approved drawings, revisions, and technical documents.
  • Incorporate customer/project feedback and make necessary modifications within timelines.
  • Visit factory/site whenever required for measurements, verification, and understanding of execution requirements.
  • Provide technical drawing support to the production and installation teams.
  • Ensure drawings are issued within agreed timelines and maintain proper version control.
  • Support the engineering team in other technical documentation and drawing-related activities.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of 2D drafting and technical drawing standards.
  • Knowledge of glass, aluminium, fabrication, architectural, or related engineering drawings will be an advantage.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Good understanding of dimensions, tolerances, sections, elevations, and layouts.
  • Good coordination and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple drawings/projects and meet deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Educational Qualification
  • Diploma / ITI / Certificate course in Drafting, Mechanical, Civil, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in drafting/design will be preferred.
  • Experience :
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in drafting/design, preferably in glass, aluminium, façade, fabrication, architectural, or engineering industries.

Pay: ₹650,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
