Works Manager – Automobile (Key Responsibilities)

  • Oversee day-to-day workshop operations and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Achieve productivity, efficiency, and turnaround time targets.
  • Maintain high quality standards with minimal rework and warranty claims.
  • Ensure timely delivery of vehicles and resolve customer complaints effectively.
  • Supervise and train technicians, supervisors, and support staff.
  • Monitor workshop costs and improve profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with OEM guidelines, company policies, and statutory norms.
  • Implement safety practices for a zero-accident workplace.
  • Prepare and submit operational and performance reports (MIS).
  • Drive continuous improvement and adopt best practices for service excellence.
