Position Overview:
Doctor Rekha Ayurveda is seeking an experienced Online Ayurveda Doctor, who studied in Kerala, to provide virtual consultations and medical care to patients. This role involves conducting virtual consultations, providing medical care to patients, diagnosing their illnesses and prescribing treatments based on Ayurvedic principles, educating patients and maintaining accurate medical records.

Job Responsibilities:

● Conduct virtual consultations with patients to assess their health concerns, medical

history, and lifestyle factors.

● Utilize Ayurvedic principles to diagnose health conditions and develop tailored

treatment plans.

● Prescribe herbal remedies, dietary recommendations, lifestyle modifications, and

therapeutic practices to address patients' health issues.

● Educate patients about Ayurvedic concepts, preventive healthcare measures, and holistic wellness practices.

● Provide ongoing support and follow-up consultations to monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

● Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nutritionists and yoga

therapists, to offer comprehensive holistic care to patients.

● Maintain accurate and confidential medical records of patient consultations,

assessments, and treatment plans.

● Stay updated on the latest developments in Ayurvedic medicine and integrative

healthcare approaches through continuous learning and professional development

activities.

● Adhere to ethical standards, legal regulations, and best practices in telemedicine and virtual healthcare delivery.

● Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and effective communication skills in interactions with patients to ensure a positive and supportive healthcare experience.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Ayurveda (Will be given priority)

Experience: Minimum 5 years of clinical practice, preferably with online consultation experience.

Language Skills: Excellent English communication skills (spoken & written).

Background:

  • Valid license or certification to practice Ayurvedic medicine in India.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Ayurvedic diagnosis, treatments, and therapies.
  • Ability to handle patients with empathy and professionalism.
  • Good communication and counseling skills.
  • Basic understanding of hospital procedures and patient record-keeping.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care, ethical practices, and holistic wellness.
  • Ability to adapt to both offline and online consultation roles.
