Job Summary

ROLE SUMMARY Executes Windows patching across SG\'s estate via SCCM and equivalent tooling. Handles routine cycles, monthly cumulative updates and emergency out-of-band patches. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Execute monthly Windows patching cycles via SCCM software-update groups. Handle out-of-band patches and emergency CVE response. Validate patch compliance and remediate failed deployments. Coordinate with application owners on reboot windows. Maintain runbooks for common patching scenarios. Produce closed-loop verification evidence. REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS Hands-on SCCM software-update administration. Windows Server and client patching experience. PowerShell scripting for routine tasks. Familiarity with WSUS and patch supersedence. PREFERRED / NICE TO HAVE Exposure to Intune-based patching. Azure Arc-managed servers experience. EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS 3+ years Windows operations / patching. Certifications: Microsoft Certified Endpoint Administrator Associate. SOFT SKILLS Process-oriented operator. Comfortable with structured patch cycles. Reliable handover discipline.
