Job Title: Quality Control Head

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive quality control protocols and procedures for AAC block production to ensure industry and customer standards are met.
• Oversee daily quality inspections, strength and durability testing, and compliance verification across all manufacturing stages.
• Production Monitoring: Oversee critical production stages, including raw material blending, slurry casting, pre-curing (green cake stability), and autoclaving (ensuring proper pressure and temperature cycles).
• Product Testing: Performing QC checks on final block samples for density compressive strength and thermal/sound insulation properties as per BIS norms..
• Lead, train, and supervise the quality control team, ensuring effective performance and professional development.
• Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain all quality-related documentation, records, and statistical analyses to ensure traceability and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, statutory, and environmental regulations during production and testing processes.
• Coordinate customer complaint resolution related to product quality, supporting site audits and technical meetings.
• Benchmark industry best practices and recommend plant-level quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. /B.E./M.Sc. in Civil, Chemical, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4–7 years’ relevant experience in quality control in AAC block manufacturing.
• In-depth knowledge of quality standards such as IS 2185, applicable to AAC blocks.
• Familiarity with testing equipment, data analysis, and statistical quality control tools.
