Commis Chef – Manipal, karnataka , india

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Commis Chef to join our culinary team in Manipal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Chef and kitchen team with daily food preparation and cooking.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, presentation, and hygiene.
  • Follow recipes, portion sizes, and food safety standards.
  • Keep the kitchen and workstations clean and organized.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients.
  • Assist with receiving, checking, and organizing kitchen supplies.
  • Work efficiently as part of a team during busy service periods.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Commis Chef or in a similar kitchen role.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and under pressure.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and good work discipline.
