Full job description
Core Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and schedule junior biomedical staff and technicians.
- Equipment Maintenance: Manage installation, testing, calibration, and preventive maintenance programs to reduce machine downtime.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all clinical devices meet local health and safety regulations and pass routine audits.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with external suppliers and service contractors for specialized repairs and new device procurement.
- Inventory & Records: Maintain accurate logs of equipment history, service records, and department stock.
- Staff Training: Instruct doctors and nurses on the correct, safe use of medical technology.
Requirements and Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 4 to 10 years working with hospital medical equipment and team management.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
