Biomedical Engineer, Regulatory jobs

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, maintain, and repair biomedical and medical equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to schedules.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults and coordinate with service vendors when required.
• Conduct equipment inspections, calibration, and performance checks.
• Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and equipment documentation.
• Assist with equipment procurement, evaluation, installation, and commissioning.
• Ensure equipment complies with hospital safety procedures and applicable standards.
• Train healthcare staff on the safe and appropriate use of equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and report recurring technical issues.
• Support inventory management of medical equipment and spare parts.
• Follow electrical, clinical, and workplace safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience; fresh graduates may apply.
• Basic knowledge of medical equipment, electronics, instrumentation, and troubleshooting.
• Good communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with clinical and technical teams.
