- A Biomedical Engineer Intern assists engineering and clinical teams in the research, design, testing, and maintenance of medical devices and healthcare systems. Responsibilities typically include hands-on equipment calibration, data analysis, technical writing, and supporting quality control or regulatory compliance.
- Key Responsibilitie
- Research & Development: Assist in prototyping, testing, and validating medical equipment and wearable biosensors.
- Equipment Maintenance: Support preventive maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of clinical machines in hospital or lab environments.
- Quality & Regulatory: Help manage documentation, risk analysis, and regulatory submissions (such as ISO 13485 or CDSCO guidelines).
- Data Analysis: Process biomedical signals and run simulations using software like MATLAB or CAD tools.
- Clinical Support: Prepare technical reports, user manuals, and assist in demonstrating equipment to healthcare professionals
