Assistant Manager – Biomedical Engineering

Location: Mazgaon, South Mumbai
Experience: 5–8 Years
Department: Biomedical Engineering

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise biomedical equipment and engineering operations.
  • Plan and coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance of medical equipment.
  • Ensure timely servicing, calibration, and AMC/CMC of biomedical equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for equipment maintenance.
  • Maintain equipment records, service reports, and inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Support procurement, installation, commissioning, and validation of new medical equipment.
  • Lead and guide the biomedical engineering team.
  • Monitor equipment performance and minimize downtime.

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Biomedical Engineering or relevant qualification.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in hospital/healthcare biomedical engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of medical equipment maintenance and hospital operations.
  • Good vendor management and team-handling skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
