About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and research-driven Data Mining Intern with a background in Biotechnology to join our team. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates who are interested in working with scientific, medical, and research-based data in a professional environment.
You will assist in collecting, organizing, validating, and analyzing large datasets related to healthcare, biotechnology, and life sciences while supporting internal research and operational projects.
Key Responsibilities
· Collect, extract, and organize data from scientific, medical, and online research sources.
· Perform data mining, data validation, and data cleaning tasks.
· Conduct biotechnology and healthcare-related research to support ongoing projects.
· Maintain structured databases, spreadsheets, and documentation.
· Analyze trends, patterns, and insights from datasets.
· Prepare reports, summaries, and research findings for internal teams.
· Collaborate with team members on research and operational assignments.
· Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and consistency.
Eligibility Criteria
· Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology or a related life sciences field.
· Strong interest in research, healthcare data, and analytical work.
· Basic understanding of medical jargon and biotechnology concepts.
· Good communication and documentation skills.
· Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools is preferred.
· Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
· Prior experience with research projects, data handling, or internships is a plus.
