Fashion Consultant / Stylist – Women’s Wear

Rush Edits is a contemporary women’s fashion boutique, and we are looking for a confident, fashion-forward and highly communicative Fashion Consultant/Stylist to join our team.

This is not just a sales role. We’re looking for someone who genuinely understands women’s fashion, styling, fabrics, fits and current trends and can use that knowledge to create a great shopping experience for every customer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact confidently with customers and understand their style, occasion and requirements.
• Recommend and sell outfits based on the customer’s preferences, body type and current fashion trends.
• Style customers and suggest different ways to carry and pair outfits.
• Have strong knowledge of women’s wear, fabrics, silhouettes, fits, garment construction, colours and styling.
• Stay updated with new and upcoming Indian and international fashion trends.
• Help the Rush Edits team identify new styles, trends, colours, fabrics and silhouettes that could work for upcoming collections.
• Understand the boutique’s inventory thoroughly and confidently explain products, fabrics, fits and styling possibilities to customers.
• Build a warm relationship with customers and contribute towards repeat purchases and customer loyalty.
• Participate in brand photoshoots and content shoots whenever required, including occasionally appearing in front of the camera.
• Assist with styling outfits and looks for shoots and social media content.
• Maintain the presentation and visual appeal of merchandise within the boutique.
• Be proactive in suggesting ideas to improve the overall customer and brand experience.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is confident, presentable and comfortable interacting with different customers.
• Has a strong understanding of women’s fashion, fabrics and garment construction.
• Has a natural eye for styling, colours and trends.
• Is comfortable with sales and can confidently recommend and upsell products without being pushy.
• Keeps up with fashion trends through designers, brands, social media and the market.
• Is comfortable occasionally being part of photoshoots/reels.
• Is proactive, organised, responsible and comfortable working in a fast-paced boutique environment.
• Has a positive attitude and takes ownership of responsibilities.

Preferred Background:

A degree/diploma in Fashion Design, Fashion Styling, Fashion Communication or a related field would be preferred. Candidates with relevant boutique, fashion retail or styling experience are also encouraged to apply.
