Role Overview:

We are looking for a Cost and Management Accountant fresher or CMA with 0-1 year experience who wants to build a long-term career in SAP CO, controlling, costing systems, ERP implementation/support, automation, budgeting, profitability analysis, and management reporting.

This is not a traditional costing or MIS role. This is a finance technology career path where your CMA knowledge will help you understand cost centers, profit centers, cost allocation, budgeting, variance analysis, product costing, profitability reporting, and ERP-driven business transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn SAP CO concepts, controlling processes, costing structures, and ERP business cycles.
• Understand cost center accounting, profit center accounting, internal orders, budgeting, allocations, product costing, variance analysis, and profitability reporting.
• Support senior consultants in SAP CO implementation, support, testing, documentation, and process mapping.
• Assist in understanding and documenting business requirements from finance, costing, operations, production, and management users.
• Help map costing, budgeting, allocation, profitability, and reporting requirements to SAP CO processes.
• Support master data validation for cost centers, profit centers, cost elements, activity types, internal orders, and related controlling objects.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing and scenario testing for controlling and costing transactions.
• Prepare process notes, SOPs, test cases, issue trackers, and functional documentation.
• Understand basic integration of SAP CO with Finance, Materials Management, Sales, Production, and Reporting processes.
• Support users in resolving basic costing, allocation, budgeting, or system-related issues under guidance.
• Develop understanding of cost controls, approval processes, audit trail, management reporting, and compliance requirements in SAP.

Required Qualification:

• Cost and Management Accountant.
• Fresher or 0-1 year of experience.
• Strong understanding of costing, budgeting, variance analysis, cost controls, cost allocation, and management reporting.
• Basic understanding of cost centers, profit centers, product costing, profitability analysis, and business processes.
• Good command over Excel and data handling.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong willingness to learn SAP CO and ERP consulting.
