The Role

We are looking for a proactive and highly skilled Freelance Content Writer to lead our brand’s educational blog and article output. You will not just be executing assignments, you will act as a thought partner, actively researching and pitching relevant topics in the health and nutrition space. If you know how to break down the science of sleep hygiene, gut-brain connections, or herbal adaptogens into engaging, accessible, and highly readable content (similar to the editorial style of leading wellness and nutrition brands), we want you on our team.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

1. Proactive Content Ideation & Research

• Stay ahead of wellness trends (e.g., metabolic health, cortisol balancing, holistic sleep habits) and pitch highly relevant article ideas on a weekly basis.
• Research the root causes of common health issues (like afternoon fatigue, bloating, or stress) and build comprehensive content briefs around them.
• Rely on credible scientific research to back up claims regarding functional ingredients like ashwagandha, chamomile, and melatonin.

2. High-Volume Content Creation

• Deliver two high-quality, well-researched articles per day consistently.
• Maintain a clear, engaging, and empathetic brand voice that speaks to the consumer's pain points without sounding overly clinical or like a textbook.

3. Educational "Root-Cause" Wellness Writing

• Write in a format that educates the reader. Translate complex nutritional and botanical science into simple, actionable lifestyle shifts.
• Focus on holistic health, connecting the dots between diet, stress, sleep, and our herbal solutions.

4. SEO & E-Commerce Integration

• Optimize all articles for search intent and targeted SEO keywords to drive organic traffic.
• Seamlessly weave The Vriksha Co. product recommendations (like our Restful Sleep tea pouches or Melatonin sleep gummies) into educational content without being aggressively salesy.

Requirements

• Proven experience writing high-volume, well-researched articles for the health, wellness, nutrition, or supplement industries.
• A strong understanding of SEO best practices and content formatting for readability (use of headers, bullet points, and scannable text).
• Ability to work independently, manage your own time, and consistently hit the 2-article-per-day deadline.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating an educational yet conversational writing style in the wellness niche.
