  • Baristas make and serve hot and cold drinks like coffee, tea, espresso, and cappuccino. They may also prepare food like sandwiches, muffins, and bagels.
  • Customer service
  • Baristas greet customers, understand their preferences, and create a fun experience. They may also remember customers' drinks and create playlists.
  • Taking orders and payment
  • Baristas process orders from the counter, drive-through, and online. They may also operate cash registers and record sales.
  • Cleaning and stocking
  • Baristas clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas. They may also restock supplies and deep clean machines.
  • Maintaining knowledge
  • Baristas develop an expert knowledge of coffee and educate customers about it. They may also sell coffee and coffee-related equipment and supplies.
  • Following guidelines
