A Bell Boy helps hotel guests with luggage, room guidance, and basic guest services to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Welcome guests at the hotel entrance.
• Carry guest luggage to and from rooms.
• Escort guests to their rooms and explain room facilities.
• Assist guests during check-in and check-out.
• Deliver messages, parcels, newspapers, or room items.
• Arrange transportation or call taxis for guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of lobby and luggage area.
• Handle guest requests politely and quickly.
• Coordinate with reception and housekeeping staff.
• Store and tag guest baggage safely when required.

Required Skills

• Good communication and polite behavior.
• Basic English speaking skills.
• Physical fitness to carry luggage.
• Customer service attitude.
• Time management and teamwork.
• Knowledge of hotel facilities and local areas.

Educational Qualification

• Usually 10th or 12th pass.
• Hotel management certificate/diploma is an advantage but not always required.

Experience

• Freshers can apply.
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred.

Working Conditions

• Shift duty (day/night shifts).
• Standing and walking for long hours.
• Uniform is generally provided by the hotel.

Average Salary in India

• Approximately ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month depending on hotel category, city, and experience.
• Tips from guests may provide additional income.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
