Drone Pilot & Operations Executive

Location: Mumbai

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Drone Pilot & Operations Executive to join our team and support real estate, construction, and infrastructure projects across India. This role goes beyond flying drones, it involves site reconnaissance, client interaction, project coordination, and ensuring the successful execution of aerial filming assignments from planning to final delivery.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working on-site, traveling frequently, interacting with clients, and operating professional drone equipment while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities Drone Operations & Filming

• Operate DJI drones and other aerial equipment for real estate, construction, and infrastructure projects.
• Execute high-quality aerial photography and videography as per project requirements.
• Plan flight paths and capture footage that aligns with client objectives and marketing goals.
• Ensure safe drone operations while adhering to company procedures and applicable regulations.
• Perform pre-flight inspections, equipment checks, and post-flight reviews.

Site Reconnaissance & Planning

• Conduct detailed site visits and reconnaissance before project execution.
• Assess site conditions, geography, obstacles, weather conditions, and shooting opportunities.
• Identify operational risks and recommend suitable flight and shooting plans.
• Understand project requirements and develop shot plans accordingly.

Client Coordination

• Meet with developers, sales teams, marketing teams, and project stakeholders to understand project goals.
• Communicate professionally with clients before, during, and after shoots.
• Conduct post-shoot review meetings and present captured footage for feedback and approvals.
• Gather client feedback and ensure revisions or reshoots are properly communicated and executed.

Project & Team Coordination

• Coordinate with internal production, editing, and project management teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain clear communication regarding project timelines, client expectations, and deliverables.
• Assist in scheduling shoots, travel arrangements, and on-site logistics.
• Ensure all project documentation and media assets are properly organized and transferred.

Equipment Management

• Maintain drone equipment and accessories in excellent working condition.
• Conduct regular maintenance, firmware updates, and safety checks.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues during field operations.
• Ensure batteries, storage devices, and supporting equipment are prepared for assignments.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience operating professional drones, particularly DJI drone platforms.
• Experience with DJI Mavic Series 3 or higher preferred.
• FPV drone flying experience is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of aerial photography and videography techniques.
• Knowledge of shot composition, camera settings, exposure, and lighting conditions.
• Experience working on real estate, construction, surveying, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage field operations efficiently.
• Comfortable with extensive travel across India.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of real estate marketing requirements and aerial content production.
• Ability to interpret basic site layouts, maps, and architectural plans.
• Familiarity with drone regulations, safety protocols, and operational compliance.
• Experience coordinating with production, editing, or creative teams.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
