Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, talented, and discreet Private Chef to provide high-quality meals tailored to the preferences and dietary needs of the household. The ideal candidate will have strong culinary expertise across a variety of cuisines and the ability to plan menus, source fresh ingredients, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.

  • Looking for a chef who can manage end-to-end service: sourcing ingredients, food prep, plating, and serving.
  • The chef will work independently, without any support staff beneath them.
  • Cuisine: multicuisine, primarily vegetarian, with vegan options as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks) in accordance with the household's preferences and dietary restrictions

  • Create customized menus weekly/monthly, incorporating seasonal and healthy ingredients

  • Shop for groceries and ingredients or coordinate with household staff/vendors

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in the kitchen

  • Prepare for and cater private events, dinners, and parties as required

  • Manage kitchen inventory, stock rotation, and food storage

  • Stay updated on culinary trends, health/nutrition practices, and global cuisines

  • Respect the household's privacy and confidentiality at all times

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a private chef or in a similar culinary role

  • Formal culinary training or relevant certification preferred

  • Expertise in multiple cuisines (e.g., Indian, Continental, Mediterranean, Asian, Vegan, etc.)

  • Strong knowledge of nutrition, allergies, and dietary needs

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality

  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules and last-minute requests
