Job Title: Assistant Catering Manager

Role Overview:

Caara Food Industry is seeking a high-performing Assistant Catering Manager to drive operational excellence, elevate client experiences, and ensure flawless execution of catering services. This role demands a proactive leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to delivering exceptional quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership:

Oversee end-to-end catering operations, ensuring seamless execution from planning to service delivery.

  • Event Execution Excellence:

Coordinate and manage catering for corporate events, social functions, and large-scale gatherings with precision and attention to detail.

  • Client Experience Management:

Act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring expectations are exceeded through personalized service and prompt issue resolution.

  • Team Supervision & Development:

Lead, train, and motivate catering staff to maintain high performance, discipline, and service standards.

  • Quality & Compliance Control:

Enforce strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and presentation standards in line with industry regulations.

  • Inventory & Cost Optimization:

Monitor stock levels, control wastage, and support cost-effective procurement strategies to maximize profitability.

  • Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination:

Liaise with suppliers, logistics teams, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery and service excellence.

  • Process Improvement:

Identify operational gaps and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and service quality.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality, Catering Management, or related field
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in catering or food service operations
  • Proven ability to manage events and lead teams under pressure
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards and compliance
