Full job description
Job Title: International Sales Engineer/Executive
Location: Work From Home (1 day/week in-office, Pune)
Work Timing: Flexible, aligned with US time zone (except in-office day)
Role Overview
We are looking for an International Sales Engineer/executive (with lead generation focus) to
drive student enrollments and international business development for our ELENO division. The
ideal candidate will have prior sales experience (international or domestic engineering services)
and excellent communication skills to engage with global prospects.
Key responsibilities
Sales & Lead Generation: Identify and generate new leads from international education
markets through online platforms, databases, LinkedIn, and direct outreach.
Sales Execution & Targets: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets (student
enrollments & revenue goals).
Ensure a minimum conversion ratio from leads to enrollments, aligned with
organizational KPIs.
Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects and ensure timely closure of leads.
Upsell and cross-sell training courses where applicable.
Business development: Identify, target, and acquire new international clients in the
engineering, manufacturing, and academic sectors to increase enrollment in CAE courses.
This involves generating new leads through cold calls, emails, networking, and industry
research.
Relationship management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key
decision-makers in educational institutions and students.
Sales process management: Manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact to deal
closure. This includes:
o Conducting market research to identify customer needs and pain points.
o Creating and delivering compelling presentations and demonstrations of the CAE
course portfolio.
o Negotiating contracts and pricing.
Performance reporting: Track sales activities, pipeline, and results using a CRM tool (e.g.,
ZOHO) and provide regular reports to management.
Market expertise: Stay up-to-date on trends within the EdTech and CAE markets,
including competitor activities and new technologies.
Collaboration and travel: Work with cross-functional teams and attend industry events
and conferences to network and generate leads as needed.
Provide weekly sales reports and performance updates.
Required Qualifications & Skills
1–2 years of International Sales experience (any domain) OR Domestic Engineering
Services Sales experience.
Strong fluency in English (written & spoken).
Good understanding of sales cycle, lead generation, and CRM usage.
Ability to work independently in a WFH setup with flexibility in US time zone.
