Amar Khamar is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of “Chef de Partie”.

Responsibility to be taken:

Designated as the assistant to the head chef or the head chef’s second in command, he/she should perform a range of duties such as:

• Assisting with menu planning,
• Managing inventory, ordering and management of supplies.
• Ensuring that food is top quality and that kitchen is in good condition.
• Keeping stations clean and complying with food safety standards.
• Working with the team and training juniors as needed.

Knowledge/Skill needed:

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment,
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
• Cook food in various utensils or grillers,
• Check food while cooking to stir or turn,
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served,
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen,
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly,
• Check quality of ingredients,
• Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages,
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.),
• Ability to work in a team,
• Very good communication skills,

Experience: 2-3 years’ of good quality working experience in above areas.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
