• Setting out works: Marking out the site bounds, gridlines, and center points using surveying equipment like total stations, theodolites, or GPS.
• Blueprint interpretation: Reviewing and interpreting complex architectural, structural, and service drawings.
• Calculations verification: Double-checking design dimensions, quantities, and material estimates to prevent errors.
• Problem solving: Diagnosing unexpected technical difficulties on-site and engineering practical solutions.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Structural checking: Inspecting critical phases like excavation depths, shuttering alignment, and steel reinforcement before concrete pours.
• Material testing: Conducting field tests for civil engineering materials, such as slump and compressive strength tests on concrete.
• Regulatory compliance: Monitoring work to ensure total compliance with local building codes, environmental policies, and bylaws.

Safety & Site Operations

• Enforcing protocols: Ensuring all on-site personnel strictly follow health and safety rules, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Resource management: Allocating labor tasks effectively and scheduling heavy machinery usage to optimize productivity.
• Subcontractor supervision: Monitoring the operational output of subcontractors and trade craftspeople to protect build milestones.

#All work including Labour Management will be prefered.

Administration & Communication

• Daily documentation: Maintaining site diaries, recording casting metrics, logging material inventories, and preparing progress reports.
• Stakeholder liaison: Acting as the core technical point of contact between architects, project managers, vendors, and clients.
• Measurement recording: Measuring and valuing physical work completed on-site to assist quantity surveyors with contractor billing.
