B.Sc. (Medical Laboratory Technology / Medical Laboratory Science / Life Sciences) – Mandatory

Experience:

1–5 Years (Hospital Diagnostic Laboratory Experience Preferred)

Job Summary:

The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for collecting, processing, testing, and reporting laboratory samples while ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and NABH requirements.

Key Responsibilities:Sample Collection & Processing

  • Collect blood and other clinical samples as per standard protocols.
  • Label, process, and transport samples accurately.
  • Ensure proper specimen handling and storage.

Laboratory Testing

  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory investigations.
  • Operate laboratory analyzers and equipment.
  • Verify test results and maintain accuracy in reporting.

Quality & Compliance

  • Follow NABH, quality control, and laboratory safety guidelines.
  • Maintain records of quality control and calibration activities.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control practices.

Equipment Management

  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
  • Report equipment breakdowns and coordinate repairs.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain laboratory records and registers.
  • Ensure timely entry of reports into the laboratory system.
  • Support internal and external audits.

Patient Care & Safety

  • Ensure patient identification before sample collection.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Follow biomedical waste management guidelines.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment
  • Sample collection and phlebotomy skills
  • Good analytical and observation skills
  • Knowledge of NABH and quality standards
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in NABH-accredited hospitals preferred
  • Ability to work in shifts
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Immediate joiners preferred

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
