Job Summary

Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering & Technology invites applications from qualified, motivated and passionate faculty members for the positions of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor in CSE, IT, AI&DS and AI&ML.

The selected candidates will be responsible for delivering quality teaching, mentoring students, guiding academic projects, contributing to research activities, and supporting the overall academic development of the department.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver lectures and practical/laboratory sessions effectively.
Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assignments and assessment components.
Complete the assigned syllabus within the prescribed academic schedule.
Maintain student attendance, academic records and course documentation.
Mentor and guide students in their academic and professional development.
Guide mini projects, major projects, internships and technical activities.
Conduct laboratory sessions and ensure effective practical learning.
Organize and participate in seminars, workshops, FDPs, conferences and technical events.
Encourage students to participate in hackathons, coding competitions and innovation activities.
Undertake research and publish papers in reputed journals/conferences.
Contribute to patents, funded research projects, consultancy and industry collaboration.
Participate in departmental meetings, academic planning and institutional activities.
Contribute to accreditation, quality-assurance and other academic documentation.
Perform other academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the HOD / Principal.

Educational Qualification

B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in CSE / IT / AI&DS / AI&ML or relevant discipline, as applicable to the position.
Ph.D. in the relevant field will be preferred/required as applicable for senior positions.
Candidates should meet the applicable AICTE / UGC / affiliating University and institutional norms.

Ability to use modern teaching-learning tools and technologies.
Good teamwork, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Experience

Assistant Professor: Freshers and experienced candidates may apply, subject to applicable eligibility norms.
Associate Professor / Professor: Relevant teaching, research and academic experience as per applicable regulatory and institutional requirements.

Salary

As per institutional norms, based on qualification, experience and position.
