Full job description

1. Job Purpose

To manage the overall Store and Warehouse operations effectively, ensuring timely availability, proper storage, accurate inventory records, material traceability, and smooth material movement in compliance with company procedures, quality requirements, and applicable statutory requirements.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Store Operations

  • Manage day-to-day operations of Raw Material (RM), Packing Material (PM), Finished Goods (FG), Consumables and General Stores.
  • Ensure proper receipt, inspection coordination, identification, storage, preservation and issue of materials.
  • Ensure materials are stored in designated locations with proper identification and status labeling.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping, safety and 5S within all store areas.
  • Ensure smooth material flow to Production, QA, Maintenance and other departments.

B. Inward / Receiving Activities

  • Verify incoming materials against Purchase Order, Delivery Challan, Invoice and other relevant documents.
  • Coordinate with Purchase, QA and concerned departments for material inspection and acceptance.
  • Ensure proper GRN / material receipt documentation.
  • Ensure rejected, hold and approved materials are clearly identified and segregated.
  • Maintain complete records of inward materials.

C. Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate physical and system inventory.
  • Monitor minimum, maximum and reorder levels of critical materials.
  • Conduct regular stock verification and cycle counting.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Control excess, slow-moving, obsolete and damaged inventory.
  • Ensure FIFO / FEFO wherever applicable.
  • Maintain proper material traceability from receipt to issue.

D. Material Issue & Internal Movement

  • Ensure materials are issued only against authorized requisitions / system transactions.
  • Maintain proper records of material issues and returns.
  • Ensure batch/lot-wise material traceability wherever applicable.
  • Coordinate with Production and other departments for timely material availability.
  • Control unauthorized movement of materials.

E. ERP / System Management

  • Ensure timely and accurate system entries for:
  • Material Receipt / GRN
  • Material Issue
  • Material Return
  • Stock Transfer
  • Stock Adjustment
  • Finished Goods Receipt
  • Dispatch
  • Regularly reconcile physical stock with ERP/system stock.
  • Ensure all store transactions are completed within the defined timeline.

F. Finished Goods & Dispatch

  • Coordinate with Production and QA for finished goods receipt.
  • Ensure only released/approved finished goods are dispatched as per procedure.
  • Maintain proper FG stock records and batch-wise traceability.
  • Coordinate with Dispatch / Sales / Logistics teams for timely dispatch.
  • Ensure proper documentation for dispatch activities.

G. Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with applicable SOPs, GMP requirements, ISO 13485 requirements and internal quality procedures.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for audit requirements.
  • Support Internal, Customer and Certification Audits.
  • Ensure timely closure of Store-related audit observations / NCs.
  • Maintain material identification, status control and traceability.

H. Team Management

  • Supervise and allocate work to Store Officers, Store Assistants, Helpers and other store personnel.
  • Monitor attendance, discipline, productivity and performance of the Store team.
  • Train employees on Store SOPs, safety, material handling, 5S and documentation.
  • Prepare manpower requirements based on workload.
  • Ensure proper shift / work allocation and backup arrangements.

I. Safety & Housekeeping

  • Ensure safe storage and handling of materials.
  • Ensure proper stacking and storage practices.
  • Maintain clear access to emergency exits, fire extinguishers and aisles.
  • Ensure material handling equipment such as trolleys, pallets and racks are used safely.
  • Conduct regular housekeeping inspections and take corrective actions.

J. MIS & Reporting

Prepare and submit regular reports such as:

  • Daily / Monthly Stock Report
  • Inventory Accuracy Report
  • Material Receipt & Issue Report
  • Stock Variance Report
  • Slow-Moving / Non-Moving Inventory Report
  • Excess / Obsolete Inventory Report
  • Stock Ageing Report
  • GRN Pending Report
  • Material Shortage / Critical Stock Report
  • FG Stock Report
  • Store KPI / KRA Report

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹14,000,000.00 per year
