Instruction SpecialistRoles & ResponsibilitiesProgram Delivery

  • Ensure optimum instructional delivery of the curriculum across specified grades in assigned schools. This may involve teaching and traveling to classrooms across the city.
  • Create monthly grade-specific goals and daily lesson plans with the support of the Program Manager, aligned with the curriculum and teaching philosophy. Submit reports after each class as required.
  • Track student attendance, assess and monitor student learning outcomes and accomplishments through assessments, projects, quizzes, and other evaluation methods. Provide progress reports as required.
  • Coordinate with school authorities to ensure adequate instructional time and maintenance of learning facilities and resources.

Training and Capacity Building

  • Participate in professional growth and development activities and stay updated on current educational research through continuing education, seminars, workshops, conferences, and professional memberships.
  • Participate in training programs and learning sessions as per the annual schedule.
  • Engage in monthly learning circles to share best practices with fellow educators and prepare for upcoming classes.
  • Work closely with the Program Manager to strengthen teaching capabilities based on feedback and performance reviews.

Events and Student Engagement

  • Coordinate with school authorities to conduct annual student showcases and mentor selected students for larger academic or extracurricular events.
  • Conduct hackathons, quizzes, field visits, and other experiential learning activities to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Support the team in operational and program-related requirements for annual events and activities.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and growth of educational programs by supporting out-of-classroom initiatives, workshops, curriculum testing, research and development activities, impact assessment processes, recruitment efforts, performance evaluations, and team-wide decision-making.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical, creative, and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to build rapport with multiple stakeholders.
  • Intellectual curiosity, willingness to learn, and openness to giving and receiving feedback regularly.
  • Interest in staying updated on developments in computer science education and related fields.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), Education, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of teaching experience and experience working with children in formal or informal learning environments.
  • Working knowledge of educational assessment and program evaluation methods, with experience using data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in the local language.

Pay: Up to ₹45,000.00 per month
