We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated SQL Developer to join our data team in Pune. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize robust database solutions, manage data extraction and transformation processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Query Development & Analysis: Write efficient SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data across various systems.
• Database Object Design: Design, develop, and maintain database objects including tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze existing queries, implement indexing strategies, and tune performance to ensure optimal database responsiveness.
• Data Integrity & Structure: Work closely with constraints, relationships, and indices to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
• ETL & Data Cleaning: Extract data from multiple disparate sources, perform thorough data cleaning, and prepare it for analysis.
• Reporting & BI: Build insightful reports and dashboards using SQL and modern BI tools to assist in decision-making.
• Collaboration: Partner with software developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver end-to-end data solutions.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex data-related issues while continuously improving existing data processes.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

• Core Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (specifically T-SQL).
• Database Concepts: Clear understanding of RDBMS concepts, including Normalization, Joins, and Indexing.
• Advanced Querying: Practical experience writing complex queries, subqueries, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), and window functions.
• Platform Knowledge: Hands-on familiarity with at least one major database management system: SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Data Engineering Basics: A basic understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and foundational data warehousing concepts.
• Problem Solving & Quality: Sharp problem-solving abilities, strong logical reasoning, and high attention to detail.
• Soft Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative, team-first mindset.
• Growth Mindset: A proactive attitude with a strong eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in the evolving landscape of data technologies.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Education: B.Tech / BCA / MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 0 to 2 years (Freshers with strong project/internship experience are highly encouraged to apply).
• Joining Timeline: Immediate joiners will be given strong preference.
• Job Location: Pune, India.

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
