  • A Catalog Specialist manages and curates product listings for e-commerce and retail databases. They are responsible for uploading product information, ensuring accurate descriptions, images, and pricing, and optimizing listings for search engines. Their primary goal is to drive sales by making it easy for customers to find and understand products.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Product Content Enrichment: Creating and updating engaging product descriptions, categorization (taxonomy mapping), and maintaining data accuracy across platforms.
  • Quality Assurance: Conducting audits on product catalogs to identify and correct errors, removing duplicate content, and ensuring compliance with brand and listing guidelines.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Liaising with vendors, merchants, photographers, and inventory teams to gather accurate product specs and facilitate smooth product launches.
  • Data Management: Populating and managing information within Content Management Systems (CMS), Product Information Management (PIM) tools, or ERP platforms.
