Content Moderator

Job Summary

A Content Moderator reviews text, images, videos, audio, advertisements, and other user-generated content to determine whether it meets platform policies and legal requirements. The role involves identifying and taking action on content that may be inappropriate, harmful, misleading, abusive, or otherwise in violation of established guidelines.

Key Responsibilities1. Content Review and Moderation

  • Review user-generated content, including:
  • Text posts
  • Images
  • Videos
  • Comments
  • Live streams (where applicable)
  • Advertisements
  • Determine whether content complies with community standards and platform policies.
  • Approve, reject, remove, or escalate content based on moderation guidelines.

2. Policy Enforcement

  • Apply company policies consistently and accurately.
  • Identify violations such as:
  • Hate speech
  • Harassment and bullying
  • Spam
  • Misinformation
  • Graphic violence
  • Adult or explicit content
  • Child safety violations
  • Fraud and scams
  • Intellectual property infringement
  • Illegal content
  • Document decisions according to company procedures.

3. Quality Assurance

  • Maintain high accuracy while meeting productivity targets.
  • Follow established workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
