Key Responsibilities

  • Type handwritten, scanned, or printed book manuscripts into digital format.
  • Convert PDF, image, or hard-copy documents into editable text documents.
  • Proofread typed content for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors.
  • Format manuscripts according to publishing or client requirements.
  • Maintain consistency in fonts, headings, page numbers, margins, and styles.
  • Verify the accuracy of typed content against original documents.
  • Organize and save files systematically for easy retrieval.
  • Meet project deadlines while maintaining high accuracy standards.
  • Handle confidential documents with professionalism.

Required Qualifications

  • Higher Secondary, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree (preferred).
  • Good command of the English language (additional languages are an advantage).
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in:
  • Microsoft Word
  • Google Docs
  • PDF editing tools
  • OCR software (optional)
  • Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
