Job Title: Corporate Lawyer

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka

Job Type: Full-time

Experience Required: 4 to 6 years

Job Summary

To support corporate, commercial, and compliance functions. The role involves managing contracts, advising on legal risks, supporting regulatory compliance, and partnering with internal stakeholders on business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements, including client, vendor, service, non-disclosure, and service-level agreements.
  • Oversee contract administration, including renewals, amendments, and record management.
  • Draft and review lease agreements, leave and license agreements, and related documentation.
  • Support legal due diligence activities related to property transactions and business expansion initiatives.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel regarding registrations, filings, disputes, and regulatory matters.
  • Monitor compliance with applicable corporate laws, statutory requirements, and filing deadlines.
  • Support board and shareholder documentation, including resolutions and meeting records.
  • Identify legal risks and provide practical guidance to business stakeholders.
  • Assist with employment-related legal matters, including policy reviews and labour law compliance.
  • Develop and maintain legal templates, policies, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized institution. An LLM qualification is an advantage.
  • 4–8 years of experience in corporate legal roles.
  • Experience in in-house legal functions and commercial contracting is preferred.
  • Experience supporting real estate, infrastructure, coworking, hospitality, or related sectors is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Indian corporate, commercial, real estate, and labour laws.
  • Experience managing statutory filings, compliance calendars, and corporate governance documentation.
  • Strong contract drafting, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
