- The role is strategically positioned to ensure consistent, high quality delivery of Corporate Action and Dividend services aligned with market deadlines, service levels, and client expectations.
- It reinforces a strong control environment by upholding regulatory requirements, internal governance standards, and risk aware operational discipline.
- The associate contributes to organizational resilience by supporting process integrity, accuracy, and compliance across global markets.
- A continuous improvement mindset is essential, with focus on identifying efficiency opportunities, reducing manual risk, and enhancing the overall client experience. Through these priorities, the role strengthens operational excellence and supports scalable, future ready Corporate Actions capabilities.
- Execute Dividends and Corporate Action events with accuracy, ensuring alignment with market announcements, client instructions, and internal procedures.
- Capture, validate, and process elections, entitlements, and settlements within required timelines and control standards.
- Coordinate with custodians, counterparties, and internal teams to resolve breaks, discrepancies, and information gaps efficiently.
- Deliver all activities within defined SLAs, market cut offs, and regulatory deadlines to maintain service excellence.
- Maintain complete and accurate event records across relevant systems and databases.
- Provide timely, professional responses to internal and external corporate action queries.
- Support preparation of reconciliations, operational reports, and event tracking documentation as required.
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable regulatory, market, client, and internal policy requirements when executing corporate action events, maintaining the highest standards of operational integrity.
- Proactively identify, assess, and escalate operational risks, including control deficiencies, atypical event patterns, and counterparty related issues that may pose reputational, compliance, or operational risk, in line with established governance and escalation frameworks.
- Support internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and investigations by providing accurate, complete, and ti,jmely documentation and subject matter input related to corporate action processes.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or a related discipline from a reputed college/university
- 0–3 years’ experience in Financial / Capital Markets, preferably with Corporate Actions and Dividends background, with basic knowledge of Capital Markets / Financial Market products
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Numerate and literate
- Good communication skills – both written and oral
- Demonstrates awareness of good customer service
- Excellent attention to detail – “right first time”
- Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good time management skills and the ability to work with support / guidance
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and follow process where necessary
- Ability to work as a team and under supervision; demonstrates good teamwork ethic, showing willingness to assist peers and take on additional tasks
