Jaagruk Bharat is building a comprehensive ecosystem of professional services for individuals, startups, SMEs, and businesses across India. We are seeking an experienced and practicing Advocate who will lead our Legal Services vertical, provide legal expertise to our customers, and help build and manage a team of legal professionals under the Jaagruk Bharat platform.

The selected candidate will play a key role in delivering legal services, developing new legal offerings, mentoring legal associates, and ensuring high-quality legal support to customers and clients assigned by the organization.

Key Responsibilities

● Provide legal consultation and advisory services to customers and clients assigned by Jaagruk Bharat.

● Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, legal notices, petitions, and other legal documents.

● Handle legal compliance, dispute resolution, and regulatory matters as required.

● Conduct legal research and provide legal opinions on matters related to customer and business requirements.

● Coordinate with courts, government authorities, regulatory bodies, and external counsels when necessary.

● Develop and manage legal services offered by the organization and support the onboarding of new legal service categories.

● Build, train, and manage a team of legal associates, advocates, and support staff under the Jaagruk Bharat ecosystem.

● Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality legal support to customers while maintaining professional and ethical standards.

● Maintain confidentiality of customer information, legal records, and company data.

Required Qualifications

● Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university.

● LL.M. or specialized legal certifications will be an added advantage.

● Mandatory enrollment with a State Bar Council and a valid license to practice under the rules of the Bar Council of India.

● Active Bar Council Registration Number must be provided.

● Minimum 5 years of post-qualification legal practice experience.

Required Skills

● Strong expertise in Corporate Law, Commercial Law, Contract Law, Consumer Law, Labor Law, Civil Law, and Regulatory Compliance.

● Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and documentation skills.

● Strong understanding of litigation and dispute resolution procedures.

● Ability to independently handle client matters and legal projects.

● Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

● Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

● Ability to lead and manage teams effectively.

Preferred Skills

● Experience working with startups, SMEs, consulting firms, or legal service organizations.

● Experience in managing legal operations and service delivery teams.

● Knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Data Protection, Consumer Protection, and Company Law.

● Prior experience in building legal practice areas or managing client portfolios.

● Business-oriented mindset with the ability to scale legal services operations.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
