Data Analyst (Fixed-Term Contract – 3 Months)

About the Role

Avarya Retail is seeking a Data Analyst to support business reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making across Retail Stores, Factory Operations, Inventory, Purchase, Sales, and Finance functions. The role requires a detail-oriented professional who can analyze data, generate reports, monitor KPIs, and provide actionable insights to improve business performance.

This position is offered on a fixed-term contract of 3 months. Based on performance, understanding of the business, quality of work, and organizational requirements, the contract may be extended or the candidate may be considered for a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
• Analyze key retail KPIs including Sales, Conversion Rate, ABV, UPT, Footfall, Inventory Turnover, and Shrinkage.
• Create and maintain dashboards for business performance tracking.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across systems and reports.
• Perform data audits and identify discrepancies or gaps.
• Support management with business insights and trend analysis.
• Monitor inventory, purchase, and sales data to support operational decisions.
• Coordinate with Retail, Factory, Purchase, Accounts, and HR teams for data requirements.
• Generate ad-hoc reports and presentations as required by management.
• Maintain proper documentation of reports, dashboards, and business metrics.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Computer Applications, or related field.
• Best years of experience in MIS, Data Analysis, Business Analysis, or Reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar reporting tools will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Performance Evaluation During Contract Period

The candidate will be evaluated on:

• Accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
• Learning speed and adaptability.
• Analytical capability and problem-solving skills.
• Ownership and accountability.
• Coordination with internal teams.
• Ability to independently handle assigned responsibilities.

Contract Terms

• Initial Contract Duration: 3 Months
• Review: At the end of the contract period.
• Extension/Confirmation: Subject to performance, business requirements, and management evaluation.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
