Database Development

• Design, develop, and maintain databases using Microsoft SQL Server
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers
• Develop and maintain data structures as per application requirements

Performance Optimization

• Monitor database performance and identify bottlenecks
• Optimize queries and improve execution time
• Implement indexing strategies for performance tuning

Data Management

• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security
• Perform data migration, extraction, and transformation tasks
• Handle backups, restores, and recovery processes

Integration & Support

• Work closely with application developers to support data requirements
• Assist in integrating databases with applications and APIs
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain proper documentation of database structures and processes
• Ensure adherence to data governance and security standards

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Minimum 1+ year of experience in MS SQL Server development
• Strong knowledge of T-SQL (queries, joins, subqueries, stored procedures)
• Experience with SQL Server 2016/2019/2022 (or similar versions)
• Understanding of database design concepts (normalization, indexing)
• Experience with performance tuning and query optimization
• Familiarity with backup and recovery processes
• Knowledge of SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio)
