Job description

Mechanical Design Engineer:-

looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who can turn ideas into a manufacturable reality.

Technical Competencies and Basic skills:-

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks or equivalent CAD tools
• Create and update 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs for new and existing products
• Apply DFM, DFA, and DFMEA principles to ensure robust, cost-effective, and manufacturable designs
• Perform engineering calculations (strength, fits, tolerance stack-up) to validate design integrity
• Support prototype build, testing, and validation (DVP) activities
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to resolve design and production issues
• Analyze and resolve customer complaints and field failures using root cause analysis
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design reports, specifications, and learnings

• Strong fundamentals in Mechanics and machine design
• Ability to perform hand calculations for design validation
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective team collaboration in fast-paced engineering environments

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, or a related field Experience
• 5-8 years of experience in Mechanical Design / Product Development
• Exposure to automotive, EV, or industrial product design domains
• Preferred-Hands-on experience inEV motor and controller design, including component development, integration, and validation
