Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you will work across cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, and application deployment, managing and optimizing AWS cloud infrastructure while ensuring robust server environments.

You will collaborate closely with the development, security, and operations teams to support the ongoing success of various projects, including cloud networking, system performance monitoring, security implementation, and disaster recovery solutions. This is a hands-on role where your work will directly contribute to the seamless functioning of mission-critical applications and services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Architecture & Deployment: Deploy applications and infrastructure using AWS services. Select appropriate AWS services based on business and technical requirements.
• Infrastructure & Automation: Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform (preferred) and AWS CloudFormation. Implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployment using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory policies. Monitor and mitigate risks related to cloud infrastructure. Implement security measures, including IAM, least-privilege access, and secrets management.
• Monitoring & Performance Optimization: Optimize cost, performance, and scalability of cloud environments. Monitor system performance using CloudWatch logs/metrics and troubleshoot production issues to resolve system bottlenecks. Examine traces and logs to assist in root cause analysis.
• Migration & Modernization: Support application modernization through containerization (EKS, Docker) and serverless approaches. Assist in migrating on-premises workloads to AWS, including planning, execution, and optimization.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Partner with different teams across the organization to deliver software solutions on AWS infrastructure. Translate business requirements into cloud solutions and provide technical guidance and support.

QualificationsRequired Skills & Experience

• Cloud Platform (Primary Focus): Deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) , with hands-on experience in key services including:
• Compute: EC2, Lambda, EKS
• Storage: S3, EBS, Glacier
• Database: RDS, DynamoDB
• Networking: VPC, Route 53, Load Balancers (ALB/NLB)
• Management: IAM, CloudWatch
• Infrastructure as Code: Strong experience with Terraform (preferred) and/or AWS CloudFormation / AWS CDK.
• Automation & Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild.
• Networking: Strong understanding of AWS VPC architecture and design, including security groups, NACLs, routing, and hybrid connectivity (VPN, Direct Connect).
• Security & Governance: Understanding of cloud security best practices and secure application design.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer or in a similar cloud engineering role.

Preferred (Good to Have)

• Experience with serverless services such as Lambda, Event Bridge, DynamoDB, S3, Athena, Glue Jobs, and Step Functions.
• Experience implementing REST API and GraphQL APIs using AWS API Gateway and AppSync.
• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional) or AWS Certified Developer Associate.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with monitoring and observability toolsets like Splunk and Datadog.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Pay: ₹398,476.21 - ₹1,617,426.69 per year
