About DesignScript

DesignScript is a performance marketing agency based in Delhi NCR, specialising in demand-generation strategies across two primary verticals -

  • D2C (eCommerce) business running on a phigital business model combining website/app and EBO (Exclusive Brand Outlet) based acquisitions, and
  • B2B services/solution providers, including high-end coaches & consultants and industrial equipment manufacturers.

We help our clients generate a realisable revenue pipeline through various demand gen strategies, including direct conversion-centric campaigns, lead generation campaigns, and CRO.

We are scaling from 10 to 20 active clients and need a Digital Marketing Generalist to take over campaign execution and delivery verticals.

Role Objective

To execute paid media campaigns, manage and optimise Google Business Profile performance, and build the automation systems that keep the clients running — without the chief strategist having to be involved in client delivery daily.

This role owns three areas simultaneously:

  • Campaign performance — build, monitor, and restructure Meta Ad and Google Ad campaigns to justify the deliverables based on the clients’ requirements.
  • Local SEO — weekly GBP rhythm, review management, Search Console tracking.
  • Automation — WhatsApp flows via WATI, Make.com workflows, and reporting pipelines.

The Digital Marketer reports directly to the Head of Growth and is the engine that runs client delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Meta Ads - Campaign Execution and Optimisation

  • Build all relevant campaign types based on promised deliverables and client requirements.
  • Monitor ad frequency daily across all accounts - pause any ad set hitting 3.5+ frequency
  • Execute creative refresh every 21 days - any creative with CTR below 1.5% is replaced, no exceptions
  • Audit Meta Pixel monthly - check Lead event drop-off vs click volume, flag discrepancies
  • Build custom audiences from lead submissions for lookalike campaigns
  • Build database reactivation campaigns via Meta custom audience upload

Google Ads - Campaign Execution and Optimisation

  • Build and launch all relevant campaign types (Search, Performance Max, Display, YouTube, Demand Gen, Remarketing) based on client objectives and promised deliverables.
  • Review search term reports at least twice per week - add irrelevant queries as negative keywords and identify new keyword opportunities.
  • Monitor campaign budgets daily - investigate any campaign spending more than 20% above expected pacing.
  • Review keyword performance weekly - pause or optimise keywords with high spend and no meaningful conversions.
  • Maintain ad strength and creative relevance across all campaigns - test new ad copy variants every 30 days.
  • Monitor Quality Scores monthly - identify keywords below 6/10 and implement improvements to ad relevance, landing page experience, or CTR.
  • Audit conversion tracking monthly - verify all primary conversion actions are recording accurately and reconcile data with CRM or website leads.
  • Review audience signals and remarketing lists monthly - refresh audience segments and ensure remarketing campaigns remain active.
  • Optimise bidding strategies based on campaign performance - evaluate bid strategy effectiveness every 30 days and recommend adjustments where required.
  • Review Performance Max asset groups monthly - replace underperforming assets and expand audience signals where necessary.
  • Monitor impression share and lost impression share due to budget or rank weekly - flag campaigns requiring budget increases or quality improvements.
  • Build and maintain remarketing campaigns for website visitors, lead form abandoners, and existing customer databases.
  • Create and manage branded search campaigns to protect brand visibility and monitor competitor bidding activity.
  • Generate monthly account health reports highlighting performance trends, optimisation actions taken, issues identified, and recommendations for growth.

Local SEO - Google Business Profile Management

  • Complete GBP one-time optimisation per new client: categories, hours, description, 15+ photos, Q&A, menu upload
  • Run weekly GBP rhythm per active client: 3-5 new photos, 2 posts, reply to all reviews within 48hrs
  • Monitor Google Search Console monthly: ranking movement, impressions vs clicks, new keyword opportunities
  • Conduct GBP 30-day and 90-day audit per client: all categories populated, no outdated offers showing
  • Track GBP direction requests and interaction data for monthly performance reports

Automation - WATI, Make.com and Reporting

  • Build and maintain WhatsApp automation via WATI:
  • Client reactivation sequences for inactive 30+ day leads
  • Day 15 and Day 45 automated check-in reminders
  • Build Make.com workflows:
  • Webhook to Google Sheets lead capture pipeline (built before every new client go-live)
  • Monthly report auto-compilation from Sheets performance data
  • Creative refresh alert when a campaign crosses Day 21 and CTR threshold
  • Update LP hero offer on ads.html each month - verify all “?icp=” URL parameters resolve correctly
  • Maintain reactivation lists: export inactive leads monthly, build WATI broadcast segments

Data, Reporting, and Escalation

  • Compile monthly performance data per client: walk-ins, cost per walk-in, GBP direction requests, and review count.
  • Prepare Day 15 and Day 45 check-in data sets for AM review before sending to the client.
  • Document all creative test results: what ran, CTR achieved, what was refreshed, and why.
  • Escalate immediately - not at the next review call - when:
  • Creative CTR drops below 0.8% after Day 10, and share a new creative brief within 48 hours of the incident.
  • Zero GBP bookings are logged by day. Check the webhook endpoint and the GBP website link.
  • Walk-ins/bookings in the current month seem to be less than in the previous month.

KPIs and Success Metrics

Campaign Performance

  • CTR above 1.5% on all active creatives at all times.
  • Cost per walk-in within ₹149 - ₹280 at all times.
  • Ad frequency below 3.5 across all campaigns.
  • C6 Lookalike ROAS above 3x before scaling ad budget.

Local SEO

  • GBP weekly rhythm 100% maintained across all active clients - no missed weeks.
  • 15-20 new reviews per client per month from Month 2 onwards.
  • Search Console tracked and documented monthly for every active client.

Automation

  • Zero manual WhatsApp manager pings - all pings must be automated via WATI from Day 7 onwards for all new clients and active.
  • Monthly reports compiled via automation, not manually assembled.
  • Landing Page Offer updated before Day 31 for every active client without a reminder.

Tools and Platforms

  • Meta Ads Manager — campaign builds, audience management, creative testing, pixel management
  • Google Ads Manager — campaign builds, audience management, creative testing, conversion tracking management
  • WATI — WhatsApp automation, broadcast sequences, customer journey flows
  • Make.com — workflow automation, webhook pipelines, data routing
  • Google Business Profile — full profile management, posting, Q&A, review replies
  • Google Search Console — keyword tracking, impressions, ranking movement
  • Microsoft Clarity — heatmaps, session recordings, scroll drop-off analysis
  • Google Sheets — lead tracking, performance data, report compilation
  • Meta Pixel and Events Manager — pixel health checks, event verification
  • AI tools — copy ideation, brief generation, report drafting (mandatory, not optional)

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Education: B. Tech, B. Com, or other similar Bachelor's Degree.
  • Can communicate clearly in English and Hindi.
  • 2-3 years of hands-on Meta and Google Ads experience - D2C (eCommerce), B2B, or local business vertical preferred.
  • Has built or maintained at least one WhatsApp automation flow using WATI, Interakt, or similar tools.
  • Understands Make.com or N8N at a workflow-building level - not just "I have used it before".
  • Google Business Profile experience - actual weekly management for multiple clients, not just account claiming.
  • Data-first mindset - reads numbers before making any changes, documents every decision before executing the change.
  • Structured and self-directed - can manage 10-15 client workflows simultaneously without being chased.
  • High ownership - treats client results as a personal responsibility, not an algorithm outcome.
