About the Opportunity
We are looking for experienced and compassionate Specialist Doctors to participate in periodic community medical camps aimed at providing accessible specialist medical support to the general public.
The medical camp will be organized once every three months, at a local association office/community centre. Each specialist will be required to dedicate approximately 2–3 hours to the camp and provide medical guidance and consultation to members of the community.
Specialists Required
We are currently looking for doctors in the following specialties:
- Gastroenterologist
- Pulmonologist
- ENT Specialist
- Neurologist
- Cardiologist
- Gynecologist
- Urologist
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct consultations and basic clinical assessments for patients attending the medical camp.
- Understand patients' symptoms and medical concerns.
- Provide appropriate medical advice and guidance.
- Review available medical reports, investigations and previous prescriptions where required.
- Identify cases that may require further investigation, specialist consultation or hospital referral.
- Educate patients regarding preventive healthcare, lifestyle modifications and disease management.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards while interacting with patients.
- Coordinate with the camp/organizing team for smooth conduct of the consultation sessions.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and appropriate handling of medical information.
Eligibility
- MBBS with a recognized postgraduate qualification/specialization in the relevant field.
- Valid medical registration with the appropriate medical council.
- Relevant clinical experience preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-oriented approach.
- Willingness to participate in community healthcare initiatives.
- Availability for approximately 2–3 hours on a Sunday, once every 3 months.
